states you may be exempt from having to obtain
pre-licensing education. You will need to
complete and submit a Licensure Certification
Form to the Illinois Division of Banks and
Real Estate Springfield office.

If you are seeking to obtain your real estate
salesperson or real estate broker license in
another state that will honor a real estate
license from Illinois then you will need to
complete a Licensure Certification Form and
submit it to the Illinois Division of Banks
and Real Estate Springfield office. You will
be responsible for all fees required by the
state from which you are making the request.

In order to renew your real estate sales
person license you need to complete and submit
a Salesperson Duplicate Renewal Form to the
Illinois Division of Banks and Real Estate
Springfield office. A renewal fee is required.
Attention: In August of 2004
the Illinois Division of Banks and Real Estate
repealed the real estate continuing education
grandfather exemption for those real estate
brokers and salespersons who had been licensed
for over 15 years prior to January 1, 1992.
Real estate salespersons will be required
to take six hours of continuing education
of which three hours must be in the core curriculum.

Division of Banks and Real Estate Springfield
office. A renewal fee is required.

The 45 Day Permit Sponsor Card Form is required
to be completed to apply for a real estate
salesperson or a real estate brokers license
or leasing. This form is also used to change
your sponsoring broker (if you have one).
There is a fee associated with changing your
sponsoring broker.
