Illinois Real Estate License School Online Documents

The Illinois Division of Banks and Real Estate's downloadable forms are in Portable Document Format (PDF). Some of these Real Estate Forms have been updated to allow you to fill them in, then print them out, while others only allow you to print, then fill them in manually. Real Estate License Reciprocity Application

If you are a licensed real estate salesperson or real estate broker from one of the below states you may be exempt from having to obtain pre-licensing education. You will need to complete and submit a Licensure Certification Form to the Illinois Division of Banks and Real Estate Springfield office.

Steps 
                          for obtaining a Illinois Real Estate License

Real Estate Licensure Certification Form


If you are seeking to obtain your real estate salesperson or real estate broker license in another state that will honor a real estate license from Illinois then you will need to complete a Licensure Certification Form and submit it to the Illinois Division of Banks and Real Estate Springfield office. You will be responsible for all fees required by the state from which you are making the request.

Real Estate Salesperson Duplicate Renewal Form


In order to renew your real estate sales person license you need to complete and submit a Salesperson Duplicate Renewal Form to the Illinois Division of Banks and Real Estate Springfield office. A renewal fee is required.

Attention: In August of 2004 the Illinois Division of Banks and Real Estate repealed the real estate continuing education grandfather exemption for those real estate brokers and salespersons who had been licensed for over 15 years prior to January 1, 1992.

Real estate salespersons will be required to take six hours of continuing education of which three hours must be in the core curriculum.

Real Estate Broker Duplicate Renewal Form


In order to renew your real estate sales person license you need to complete and submit a Broker Duplicate Renewal Form to the Illinois Division of Banks and Real Estate Springfield office. A renewal fee is required.

Attention: In August of 2004 the Illinois Division of Banks and Real Estate repealed the real estate continuing education grandfather exemption for those real estate brokers and salespersons who had been licensed for over 15 years prior to January 1, 1992.

Previously exempted real estate brokers will be required to take twelve hours of continuing education of which six hours must be in the core curriculum.

45 Day Permit Sponsor Card


The 45 Day Permit Sponsor Card Form is required to be completed to apply for a real estate salesperson or a real estate brokers license or leasing. This form is also used to change your sponsoring broker (if you have one). There is a fee associated with changing your sponsoring broker.

This form is required to be submitted when you change mailing addresses or change your name to keep your licensing information current with the state.
